The Jack Thompson Foundation Ltd is registered with the ABN: 47 130 881 828 and as a registered charity has since 22 October 2008, has access to Charity Tax Concessions (CTC).

The Foundation has a Board of Trustees that preside over the Jack Thompson Foundation Gift Fund which has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Status since 1st May 2008 as a Public Benevolent Institution and as a Public Fund for the relief of persons in Australia in necessitous circumstances.
